Three Teens Dead in Pennsylvania Car Crash on Halloween Night
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Three teenagers died and another was critically injured in a car crash on Halloween night. The accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Bristol Road, according to the Warrington Township Police Department.
Police confirmed that the sedan, a Toyota Camry, was traveling eastbound when the driver lost control of the vehicle near a downward crest in the narrow road. The sedan crossed into the westbound lane and collided with a Ford Explorer.
There were four teenagers in the Camry. Among the deceased are 15-year-old Elkhan Saparbekov, who was driving, 18-year-old Aziz Umidovich Amonov, and a 16-year-old male passenger. A 14-year-old boy, who was also in the rear seat, is currently in the intensive care unit in Philadelphia after undergoing surgery.
Officials from Neshaminy High School confirmed that two of the victims, Saparbekov and Amonov, were students there; Saparbekov was a freshman and Amonov was a senior. The school has expressed their condolences and grief support services will be available for students upon returning to class.
The driver of the SUV, which contained one occupant, was not injured. Authorities are continuing their investigation, including determining the specific cause of the crash. The Bucks County Crash Team is set to inspect the vehicles involved on Monday.
This incident has shocked the local community, prompting an outpouring of support for the families affected. Police described it as a heartbreaking situation, emphasizing their condolences to friends and family during this challenging time.
