Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat Set for AEW Dynamite’s Historic Episode

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Wrestling legends Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat will make a special appearance at AEW Dynamite’s “Blood & Guts” episode this Wednesday. AEW commentator Tony Schiavone announced their attendance during Saturday’s episode of Collision.

The event in Greensboro is particularly significant, as both Flair and Steamboat have deep roots in the area from their time in Jim Crockett Promotions. Flair was most recently seen in Greensboro for Sting‘s retirement match in 2024.

In addition to the Hall of Famers’ appearances, AEW is making history with two “Blood & Guts” matches, including the first-ever women’s match of its kind. Mina Shirakawa has stepped in for Queen Aminata, joining a star-studded team alongside Toni Storm, Kris Statlander, Jamie Hayter, Willow Nightingale, and Harley Cameron.

The women’s team will face off against Mercedes Mone, Marina Shafir, Megan Bayne, and Triangle of Madness. The men’s match features Jon Moxley and the Death Riders battling Darby Allin, Roderick Strong, and The Conglomeration.

Furthermore, a non-title singles match will pit AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page against Powerhouse Hobbs. Fans are eager to see how this event unfolds with both legendary figures in attendance.
