Benny Blanco Studio City Home Invasion

STUDIO CITY, Calif. — A woman hid from intruders as they broke into her home on Shadyglade Avenue Monday night around 9:30 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim, identified as Sandra Levin, is the mother of music producer Benny Blanco. Levin was inside her home when two men, described as wearing dark clothing and masks, entered through a sliding glass door.

In a panic, Levin ran upstairs and locked herself in a bathroom. She later heard the intruders come up the stairs and open a bedroom door. When she peeked out, the intruders spotted her and immediately fled the scene.

It remains unclear whether the suspects were armed during the break-in. Fortunately, nothing was reported stolen, and no injuries were sustained. Police were alerted to the situation by a home-security alarm.

Officers responded promptly to the incident, and the investigation is ongoing. Despite the frightening encounter, Levin was able to scare off the intruders.
