Abington Resident Highlights Benefits of Free Energy Assessments

Abington, PA – The home of Marsha Levell in Abington was recently featured during a PECO home energy assessment.
The assessment aims to help customers identify areas where they may be losing energy. It costs $49, but is free for those who meet income eligibility requirements.
Levell shared her enthusiasm for the program, stating, “For me, they kind of just go hand in hand with my composting and being thoughtful and reusing things.” Her comments highlight the connection between energy efficiency and sustainable living.
Last year, PECO programs reportedly removed the equivalent of pollution produced by 12,000 vehicles, according to 6ABC. The energy company encourages customers to take advantage of this opportunity for a free home energy assessment.
