Active Shooter Situation Reported at Oxford Valley Mall

Bucks County, Pennsylvania — Witnesses reported a possible shooting and an active shooter situation at the Oxford Valley Mall early Wednesday morning.
The Pennsylvania State Police have yet to confirm the reports. State Senator Frank Farry, who represents parts of Bucks County, posted on Facebook, urging the public to avoid the area. “There is an active shooter at the Oxford Valley Mall. Please avoid the area. Police, Fire & EMS are on scene. Please share and I will update when I have more information,” he wrote.
Social media users claim a heavy police presence is in the area, with some suggesting that the mall has been evacuated or placed on lockdown. One individual noted, “Avoid the Oxford Valley Mall due to heavy police activity.”
Another witness shared their confusion, saying, “When you’re at work and there’s a whole active shooter!? Like we don’t even know what’s going on. Everyone I’m working with is safe in the store, but check on your people.”
Reports continued to come in from individuals near the mall, with one stating, “Police activity over by Oxford Valley Mall, prayers heard there’s a shooter.” Another reported that the mall was on lockdown due to a shooting incident outside by the fountain.
A witness who had just exited a movie theater added, “I just got out of the movies and heard sirens, and when we tried to leave, there were like 15 police cars and fire trucks coming in.”
The situation is ongoing, and updates are expected as police respond to the scene.
