WEST MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Authorities responded to UPMC Memorial Hospital Saturday morning after receiving reports of an active threat. According to Ted Czech, public information officer for the York County Office of Emergency Management, the incident began with a 911 call received at 10:43 a.m.

The threat was reported in the hospital complex located on Innovation Drive. Within minutes, police arrived on site to assess the situation and ensure the safety of patients and staff.

Czech confirmed that the threat has been neutralized, and an investigation is currently underway. However, specific details about the nature of the threat have not been disclosed at this time, as authorities continue to gather information.
