Alanis Morissette Fireaid Benefit Concert 2025

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Alanis Morissette delivered a powerful performance at the FireAid Benefit Concert on Thursday night, Jan. 30, at the Kia Forum, captivating the audience with renditions of her iconic hits “Hand in My Pocket” and “Thank U.” The event, aimed at raising millions for wildfire relief efforts, featured a star-studded lineup of artists.

Morissette took the stage following Green Day‘s opening set, which included a surprise appearance by Billie Eilish. Dressed in a glitter-covered “I <3 LA” t-shirt, the Canadian singer-songwriter immediately energized the crowd with “Hand in My Pocket,” showcasing her signature harmonica solo and dynamic stage presence.

After finishing the Jagged Little Pill classic, Morissette addressed the audience, saying, “I love you L.A., so much. The connections that have been born from these tragedies have been deeply heartwarming.” Her performance of “Thank U” followed, blending emotional depth with a robust musical arrangement as she swayed before the microphone stand.

The FireAid Benefit Concerts, organized to support those affected by recent wildfires in Los Angeles, kicked off at the Kia Forum and will continue at the Intuit Dome. The lineup includes legendary acts such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, John Mayer, Anderson .Paak, and P!nk at the Forum, while Gracie Abrams, Rod Stewart, Lady Gaga, and Olivia Rodrigo are set to perform at the Intuit Dome.

The Recording Academy and MusiCares have partnered with the event to amplify wildfire relief efforts, leveraging their networks to provide critical support to affected communities.
