Alina Habba Reveals Biden’s Controversial ‘Fake Oval Office’

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Alina Habba, a senior aide to former President Donald Trump, recently showcased what she referred to as Joe Biden‘s ‘fake Oval Office’ in a video shared on social media. The revelation has sparked discussions regarding the authenticity of Biden’s televised appearances throughout his presidency.
In a clip viewed by over 1.6 million people on X, formerly Twitter, Habba provided a behind-the-scenes look at a set designed to resemble the Oval Office. The room, located in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building (EEOB), was equipped with advanced lighting, teleprompters, and screens, allowing Biden to present a polished image during public events.
‘We’re in Biden’s fake Oval Office, everybody,’ Habba exclaimed as she sat behind a dark wooden desk adorned with an American flag and a sign outlining the White House’s north front. Her commentary suggested a critique of Biden’s ability to perform without the assistance of scripted material.
‘I now know why, I now get it,’ she continued, prompting the cameraman to turn towards the teleprompters positioned in the room. The staging included not only professional lighting but also digital displays resembling the White House Rose Garden, enhancing the illusion of authenticity.
Habba’s remarks prompted responses from many viewers, reflecting a range of opinions on the use of such a set for presidential communications. Some viewers expressed skepticism, questioning the need for a staged environment when the actual Oval Office was available for use.
Former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller joined Habba in criticizing the situation, asserting that Biden needed the virtual setup to read scripts effectively. ‘The reason Biden uses this bizarre virtual set for televised meetings — and not an actual room like East Room, Cabinet, Oval, Roosevelt, Sit Room, etc. — is because it allows him to read a script directly from a face-on monitor,’ he noted on his social media platform.
The faux Oval Office has been utilized during significant moments in Biden’s presidency, including the livestream of his COVID-19 vaccination in early 2021. This set was strategically designed to accommodate large media groups and enhance the visibility of virtual events, especially during the pandemic.
As the clip circulated widely, the narrative around Biden’s capability and authenticity became a focal point for detractors. The video’s reception underscored the political divisions surrounding Biden’s administration and the scrutiny faced by public figures in the digital age.
In response to changes affecting veterans within the federal workforce, Habba previously made headlines for controversial statements, including questioning the fit of some veterans for employment. This has contributed to the ongoing discussion about the administration’s handling of various demographic groups within government positions.
Habba’s tour of the ‘fake Oval Office,’ while intended to reveal what she perceives as misleading practices, also sheds light on the complexities of modern presidential communication as it intersects with public perception and media scrutiny.
