Wesley Rouse Amber Alert Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – An Amber Alert has been canceled for a 14-year-old boy who was reported missing in Oklahoma City. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), Wesley Rouse was found safe on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, and the suspect, 40-year-old Timothy Ross, has been detained.

The OHP issued the Amber Alert earlier in the day after Rouse was last seen on Tuesday. Authorities believe he was with Ross, who is identified as Rouse’s stepfather, although there is no vehicle description currently available. The two were last spotted around midnight in Midwest City, specifically near Northwest 23rd Street and Air Depot Boulevard.

Rouse is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 96 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a turquoise shirt, blue jeans, and blue Nikes at the time of his disappearance. The OHP has indicated that Rouse is developmentally delayed.

Ross, on the other hand, is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was reported to be wearing blue jeans and a black T-shirt during the time of the incident. While the reasons for Rouse’s abduction remain unclear, the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office has stated the investigation is ongoing.
