Amber Alert Issued for Abducted 2-Year-Old Girl in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. — The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert on Tuesday for a 2-year-old girl who was abducted in Oakland. Amira Coleman was last seen on May 20 around 12:36 p.m. at 39th and Adeline streets.

Authorities say the suspects involved in the abduction are considered armed and dangerous. The Amber Alert was issued in collaboration with the Oakland Police Department due to the imminent danger the child may be in.

Amira Coleman is described as being 1 foot 5 inches tall, weighing 60 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink top.

The suspects are identified as 26-year-old Andrew Coleman and 24-year-old Tamira Claggion. Andrew is 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Tamira is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, also with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink dress and gray shoes.

This Amber Alert spans Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Francisco counties. Authorities urge anyone with information or who sees Amira or the suspects to call 911.
