AMBER Alert Issued for Armed Mother in Nevada Kidnapping

FALLON, Nev. — Authorities have issued an AMBER Alert for a woman accused of kidnapping her 10-month-old baby from the Fallon area early Monday morning. The alert was activated around 2:15 p.m. on March 31, prompting a widespread search for the child and the suspect.
According to the report, Chelsea Daniels allegedly took her child around 8 a.m. and is considered armed. The vehicle associated with the case is a black 2006 Ford Explorer with Nevada license plate 714-S57.
Local law enforcement officials are urging the community to remain vigilant and report any sightings of Daniels, the child, or the vehicle immediately. “We are concerned for the safety of the baby,” said a Washoe County spokesperson. “If you see something, say something.”
Authorities have described the nature of the kidnapping as non-custodial, which refers to a situation where one parent takes a child without the other parent’s consent.
The AMBER Alert serves as a critical tool for rapid dissemination of information concerning abducted children, enabling the community to assist in locating them. For this case, the Nevada Highway Patrol and the Fallon Police Department are coordinating their efforts.
Anyone with any information is urged to call 911 immediately and provide assistance—every detail can help authorities locate the baby safely.
