Amber Alert Issued for Missing 3-Year-Old Girl in Savannah

SAVANNAH, Ga. – Authorities are looking for Leilani Elliott, a 3-year-old girl missing from Savannah and believed to be in extreme danger. She was taken during a supervised visit on Thursday morning.
Leilani was last seen at approximately 10:20 a.m. near 825 Wheaton Street, reportedly with Jessy Elliott, 32. Police say she was unauthorizedly taken from the 900 block of Wheaton Street.
Jessy Elliott was spotted around 10:45 a.m. walking east on Wheaton Street toward East Broad Street. The Savannah Police Department has issued a statewide Levi’s Call, Georgia’s Amber Alert system, urging the public to assist in the search.
Leilani is described as having black hair styled in braids with beads. At the time of her disappearance, she wore a yellow hoodie, dark leggings, and white shoes. Jessy Elliott, who has brown hair with blond ends tied back in a ponytail, was dressed in a blue or teal tank top and blue jeans.
Authorities initially reported that Jessy Elliott might be driving a 2022 model white Nissan Altima. The circumstances around Leilani’s disappearance are still under investigation.
The Savannah Police urge anyone who sees Leilani or Jessy Elliott to call 911 or contact them at 912-658-0990 immediately. The girl’s safety is a top priority.
