Amber Alert Issued for Missing 2-Year-Old in Tacoma

TACOMA, Wash. — An Amber Alert was issued Saturday for the kidnapping of a 2-year-old girl who disappeared near a Wendy's restaurant in Tacoma.
The incident occurred around 9:10 a.m. at the Wendy’s located at 4112 South Steele Street, according to the Tacoma Police Department. The missing girl has been identified as Delilah Everett.
Delilah is described as a Black female, about 3 feet tall and weighing 23 pounds. She has brown curly hair and brown eyes. At the time she went missing, she was wearing a white and yellow floral long-sleeve pajama set and white socks.
Witnesses reported seeing a stranger pick Delilah up from the street and put her in a car before driving away towards 38th Street, police said.
The suspect is described as a Black man in his early 20s with a thin build and puffy afro-style hair. He was last seen wearing a gray puffer jacket, light blue and white basketball shorts, and black Nike slides with gold lettering. The suspected vehicle is a 2020 silver Hyundai.
Detectives are actively investigating and following up on all leads related to Delilah’s disappearance. They urge anyone who sees Delilah, the suspect, or the described vehicle, or who has any relevant information, to call 911 immediately or contact the Tacoma Police Department.
