Caden Speight Missing Person Alert

DUNNELLON, Fla. – An AMBER Alert was issued Thursday evening for 17-year-old Caden Speight, who was reported missing in Marion County, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE).

Speight was last seen near the 12800 block of Southwest Highway 484 in Dunnellon. He was described as standing 6 feet tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing an unknown colored t-shirt and blue jeans.

Law enforcement officials believe that Caden may be with four unknown males, possibly Hispanic. They might be traveling in a light-colored van. Authorities urge anyone who spots him not to approach but to call law enforcement immediately.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office reported that Speight’s disappearance is linked to a shooting incident that occurred in the same area on Thursday around 4 p.m. Investigators found Speight’s vehicle on Highway 484, showing signs of a shooting, but he was not present.

Authorities are asking anyone who was in the area at that time and has information regarding this incident to contact the Marion County Sheriff's Office at (352) 732-9111.

As the search continues, the FDLE has emphasized the importance of public assistance in locating Speight. They remind the community to remain vigilant and report any sightings immediately.
