Amber Alert Issued for Missing 15-Year-Old Azalea Strifler in Harnett County

HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — An Amber Alert has been issued for 15-year-old Azalea Strifler, who went missing from the Spring Lake area on Tuesday, February 25. The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office is urgently seeking the public’s help in locating the endangered child.
According to a Facebook post by her mother, Cameo Strifler, Azalea was last seen around 6:15 a.m. and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance remain unknown. Authorities became aware of her missing status, but the Emergency Alert Service notification did not reach most smartphones until approximately 1 p.m. the following day.
Azalea is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 110 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. The delay in the issuance of the Amber Alert raises concerns about potential safety issues, as the public is encouraged to remain vigilant.
The whereabouts of Strifler remain uncertain, and officials have not disclosed details about who she might be with or where she may be located. Harnett County is situated about 140 miles east of Charlotte, just north of Fayetteville.
