American Airlines Dallas Fort Worth To Eugene Route

DALLAS, TexasAmerican Airlines will suspend its flights between Dallas/Fort Worth and Eugene, Oregon, as confirmed by an airline spokesperson on Monday. The last flight operated on August 5, and the service will not return next summer.

This decision came as part of American’s ongoing network evaluation. The spokesperson noted, “As part of a continuous evaluation of our network, American has made the difficult decision to discontinue service between Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) and Eugene, Oregon (EUG).” They added that the airline is proactively reaching out to customers affected by this change and apologized for any inconvenience.

The Dallas/Fort Worth to Eugene route started as year-round service when it began in 2021. However, it later transitioned to a seasonal offering. With this suspension, Eugene will continue to have American Airlines service to its Phoenix hub but will lose a direct link to one of its significant markets.
