Jennifer Lopez American Music Awards 2025

LAS VEGAS, NV – May 8, 2025 – The 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) will kick off summer on Memorial Day, May 26, at the new Fontainebleau Las Vegas resort. Hosted by Jennifer Lopez, the show promises unforgettable performances, airing live at 8:00 p.m. EDT / 5:00 p.m. PDT on CBS and Paramount+.

Kendrick Lamar leads this year’s nominations with ten nods, closely followed by Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey. Fans can vote for their favorite artists on the AMAs website and Instagram until May 15. Voting for select categories will remain open during the first 30 minutes of the broadcast.

The AMAs will include special moments honoring U.S. veterans in partnership with the Easy Day Foundation, showcasing performances and stories from service members. This year’s event follows the successful 50th Anniversary Special, which broke streaming records.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Lopez back to host the American Music Awards,” said Jay Penske, CEO of Dick Clark Productions. “Her incredible talent and energy make her the ideal host for this celebration.”

Lopez previously hosted the AMAs in 2015 and has performed on the show multiple times. The 2025 AMAs mark a significant shift as the first broadcast on CBS, after airing on ABC for nearly five decades. Additionally, the show will now take place on Memorial Day, paying tribute to troops and veterans while celebrating the year’s top music artists.

Tickets for the event are currently available on Ticketmaster, and fans eagerly await the exciting performances that Lopez is expected to deliver.
