Andrew Tate Faces New Lawsuit Over Allegations of Sexual Assault

LOS ANGELES — Andrew Tate, a controversial social media figure, is facing a lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend, Brianna Stern, who accuses him of sexual assault, battery, and gender violence. The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court and details the couple’s tumultuous relationship, alleging that Tate became emotionally and physically abusive.
The disturbing allegations revolve around an incident that reportedly occurred on March 11 at The Beverly Hills Hotel, where Stern claims Tate assaulted and threatened her during what was initially a consensual encounter.
In a statement, Tate’s attorney, Joseph McBride, dismissed the claims as a “blatant cash grab,” suggesting that Stern is seeking attention and financial gain. “Andrew’s legal team stands ready to defend him fiercely in court, where the truth will expose this baseless scheme,” McBride said.
The lawsuit arrives amid ongoing scrutiny of Tate’s past, which includes previous charges of sex trafficking and other criminal allegations in Romania. In 2022, both Tate and his brother, Tristan, were arrested on accusations of forming a criminal organization, with Andrew Tate also facing rape charges. However, neither brother has been convicted of any crimes to date.
Stern claims that their relationship began romantically when they met in Romania during the summer of 2024, but she alleges Tate’s demeanor shifted dramatically. Initially charming, Tate soon began to verbally abuse her, often referring to her as his “property.” According to Stern, he subjected her to frequent instances of manipulation and degrading comments.
In her lawsuit, Stern describes a particularly violent episode: “Tate began verbally degrading [the] Plaintiff as he routinely did — but this time it was much worse, more aggressive, and more violent.” She alleges that he beat and choked her while they were intimate, forcing her to plead for him to stop. When she cried out for him to cease, she claims he threatened, “If you ever cross me, you will regret it.”
Following the altercation, Stern sought medical attention and was diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome. Tate allegedly messaged her afterwards, stating, “If you ever betray me you will regret it.” Stern refrained from reporting the incident until he had left the country.
In addition to punitive damages, Stern is requesting a restraining order against Tate, hoping her legal actions will prevent him from continuing a pattern of abuse against women. The lawsuit seeks statutory damages, attorney fees, and any other appropriate relief deemed just by the court.
Despite the serious accusations, Stern indicated on social media that she still harbors feelings for Tate. “It was honestly hard for me to accept that I was being abused,” she stated in an Instagram post after filing her lawsuit.
Meanwhile, Tate has not publicly addressed the lawsuit personally. The legal drama continues to unfold as various parties watch closely, given Tate’s controversial standing and public persona.
