Andy Cohen Denies Rumors of Lisa Vanderpump’s Return to RHOBH
NEW YORK, N.Y. — Andy Cohen, host and executive producer of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (RHOBH), has dismissed rumors that he is trying to bring Lisa Vanderpump back to the reality TV franchise. During a recent episode of his SiriusXM radio show, Cohen addressed the speculation, stating, “It was repeated all over the place that I’m trying to get Lisa Vanderpump back on The Housewives of Beverly Hills. Let me restate my abject love for Lisa Vanderpump, but I don’t know where the rumor came from.”
Cohen, 56, emphasized that Vanderpump, 64, has moved on from the show. “I don’t see her coming back to that show,” he said. “She’s got her own thing going on.” Vanderpump, a founding cast member of RHOBH, left the series in 2019 after nine seasons and has since focused on her spinoff shows, including “Vanderpump Rules.”
Cohen’s cohost, John Hill, echoed his sentiments, adding, “I don’t know why that would even be a rumor. She doesn’t need to go back.” Hill noted that the current RHOBH cast might not mesh well with Vanderpump, and Cohen hinted at the strained relationships between Vanderpump and some of her former co-stars, including Kyle Richards.
Vanderpump’s exit from RHOBH was marked by drama, particularly her falling out with Richards and other cast members over allegations involving Vanderpump Dogs, her animal rescue organization. Despite the tension, Cohen revealed that Vanderpump and Richards occasionally cross paths and share lighthearted moments. “I do love that it feels like once a year, Kyle runs into Vanderpump somewhere and they’ll kind of send each other their bill or their drink,” Cohen said. “They always have a funny [interaction].”
Vanderpump has remained a prominent figure in the reality TV world, but her return to RHOBH seems unlikely. Cohen concluded, “I don’t even think she has any desire, or they have any desire to interact.”
