Ac/dc Australian Tour 2025

SYDNEY, AustraliaAC/DC will return to their home country for the first time in a decade with five shows this winter. The tour is set to kick off on November 12 in Melbourne and will conclude on December 14 in Brisbane.

These upcoming concerts mark AC/DC’s first visit to Australia since their last performances in 2015 as part of the Rock or Bust tour. The band’s founding lead guitarist and vocalist, Brian Johnson, will perform alongside rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, bassist Chris Chaney, and drummer Matt Laug.

The Melbourne show will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, followed by performances in Sydney at Accor Stadium on November 21, Adelaide on November 30, Perth at Optus Stadium on December 4, and finally Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on December 14. Special guests Amyl & The Sniffers will open for all five shows.

The announcement comes after AC/DC completed a 13-date North American tour and is preparing for a 15-date tour in Europe starting June 26. The band’s most recent studio album, Power Up, released in 2020, continues to generate excitement among fans.

AC/DC is known for their high-energy performances of classics like “Back In Black,” “Highway to Hell,” and “TNT.” The upcoming shows are expected to draw intense demand, as previous tours in Australia sold about 1 million tickets combined.

Anticipation is high for these Winter 2025 shows, especially as it will be the first time they perform since the passing of former rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young in 2017 and influential producer George Young. The band’s return to their roots resonates with long-time fans who have awaited another chance to see them live.
