FX Announces Premiere Dates for New Shows

LOS ANGELES, May 13, 2025 – FX has unveiled premiere dates for three highly anticipated series, including the fourth season of “The Bear” and the series debut of “Alien: Earth.” The announcements came ahead of Disney’s advertiser upfront presentation.
Season 4 of “The Bear,” created by Christopher Storer, will launch on Wednesday, June 25, with all ten episodes available on Hulu starting at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Viewers internationally can also catch the series on Disney+.
The upcoming season follows the characters Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, played by Jeremy Allen White, Sydney Adamu, portrayed by Ayo Edebiri, and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich, played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach, as they navigate new challenges and strive for excellence at their restaurant.
Storer serves as executive producer of the show, alongside a talented team that includes Josh Senior and Joanna Calo. “The Bear” has received significant acclaim, winning 11 Emmy Awards in its second season.
Meanwhile, “Alien: Earth,” a science fiction drama created by Noah Hawley, will premiere on August 12. The first two episodes will be available for streaming on Hulu at 8 p.m. ET and will air on the FX linear channel at the same time. The series is set in 2120 and follows characters who encounter perilous threats after a spaceship crash-lands on Earth.
The cast includes Sydney Chandler, who plays “Wendy,” and Timothy Olyphant, among others. Each of its eight episodes will be released weekly on Tuesdays.
Additionally, FX’s new drama “The Lowdown,” featuring Ethan Hawke, will debut on September 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, offering an engaging story about a citizen journalist’s relentless pursuit of truth.
FX continues to bolster its lineup with exciting original programming, ensuring a strong viewing option for fans this summer.
