British cinema and stage veteran, Anthony Hopkins, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet Indian superstar Salman Khan at the Joy Awards held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Hopkins, who attended the ceremony on Saturday, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Hopkins extended his thanks to the Joy Awards for bestowing him with the Lifetime Achievement Award, tweeting, ‘Thank you #JoyAwards for honoring me with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Salman Khan, in his capacity as the presenter, honored Egyptian actor Essad Youniss with the Lifetime Achievement honor at the awards ceremony.

The Joy Awards also recognized Indian actor Alia Bhatt, who received the honorary entertainment makers award. In her acceptance speech, she dedicated the trophy to the ‘magic of movies‘.

At the event, Khan and Bhatt, along with Hopkins, posed for a group photograph with renowned Hollywood personalities such as Salma Hayek, Zack Snyder, John Cena, and Anthony Anderson.
