Actor Ashton Kutcher is reportedly reevaluating his long-standing friendship with Sean 'Diddy' Combs following the music mogul’s recent legal troubles. Combs, aged 54, is currently facing serious charges including racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, with his trial taking place at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.

According to a source speaking to DailyMail.com, Kutcher, who is 46, is experiencing significant anxiety over the potential implications of Combs’ situation. The insider stated that Kutcher fears Combs might “say anything, do anything or turn on anyone to get out of jail.” They added, “Ashton absolutely regrets his friendship with Diddy considering what has happened. He feels lied to, betrayed, taken for granted, and manipulated.”

Kutcher and Combs were friends for nearly two decades, and Kutcher even attended some of Combs’ high-profile events, such as his renowned White Parties. However, following Combs’ arrest, the relationship has soured amid concerns over what Combs might allege to clear his name. The relationship deterioration mirrors another strained connection in Kutcher’s life, namely with former “That '70s Show” co-star Danny Masterson, following the latter’s sentencing.

Combs’ legal troubles involve allegations of engaging in a ‘criminal enterprise,’ including sex trafficking and other serious offences, as detailed in recent news coverage. Combs’ former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, notably captured public attention last year when a video emerged showing Combs allegedly dragging her in a hotel lobby. The incident reportedly prompted others to come forward with claims of abuse.

Kutcher’s apprehensions are compounded by his awareness that association with Combs might invite scrutiny from authorities. “Ashton does have fears about how this investigation will play out,” a source noted. “He feels Diddy would have no problem lying to authorities and tossing out some of his famous friend’s names if it meant it could get him out of jail.”

Adding to his stress, rumors have circulated about potential subpoenas tied to the investigation, particularly following raids on Combs’ properties earlier this year. Kutcher, although dismayed by the situation, intends to cooperate with authorities if contacted, maintaining he has nothing to hide.

The actor is reportedly distancing himself from his former circle and is relying on his family, particularly his wife Mila Kunis. Both Kutcher and Kunis have faced public criticism in the past, notably after supporting Masterson during his trial.
