Officers are looking for information about an assault that took place in Bath city centre earlier this month. They’ve shared images of four young men they’d like to chat with.

The incident occurred around 8:30 PM on Saturday, July 6, when a fight broke out near the popular burger joint, Five Guys, located in Saw Close.

The victim, a man in his 30s, suffered a concussion, bruises on his chest and arms, a large cut on his nose, and a chipped tooth. Thankfully, he is now recovering at home after being taken to the hospital.

Officers described the men they want to speak to as being in their late teens or early twenties but haven’t revealed many details about them.

Meanwhile, another incident unfolded in Bath where a woman approached two people with a bag, causing them to feel unwell. This happened around 2:30 PM on the same day.

According to Avon and Somerset Police, the two individuals experienced breathing difficulties and itchy eyes. They were taken to the hospital for further examination.

A witness, Dakota Nicholls, described the scene as frightening, noting the presence of emergency crews in protective clothing and numerous ambulances and police vehicles.

Authorities are currently working with other emergency responders to manage the situation and are keeping the area safe.
