In a separate win, a player from Fortson won $50,000 in the Powerball drawing held on Wednesday. This ticket was purchased at Mulberry Grove Chevron, located at 4206 Georgia Highway 315. The winning combination matched four of the five white-ball numbers, along with the Powerball number, which were 01-02-03-57-59 with a Powerball of 09. The Power Play multiplier was 2X, enhancing the prize amount.

The upcoming Powerball drawing is scheduled for Saturday, featuring an estimated jackpot of $44 million. Meanwhile, a resident from Tucker also scored big with a $10,000 win on Keno! through the Georgia Lottery mobile app.
