Ayodhya Ram Temple Pran Pratishtha Ceremony: How and Where to Watch Live Coverage
The auspicious and highly anticipated pran pratishtha ceremony of the newly constructed Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is scheduled to take place on January 22, with thousands of dignitaries expected to attend. This grand event will witness the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will actively participate in the main rituals.
To ensure the wider audience can witness this historic occasion, the ceremony will be live-streamed on various platforms. Doordarshan, the national broadcaster, will broadcast the entire event on its channels starting from 7 am to 1 pm. The live coverage can also be viewed on Doordarshan National’s YouTube channel. Additionally, important locations such as Ram ki Paidi near Saryu ghat and the Jatayu statue at Kuber Tila will be showcasing the event through live footage.
Multiplex operators PVR INOX have announced the live screening of the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony on their 160 cinema screens across 70-plus cities. This initiative aims to make the event accessible to a larger audience.
Security measures have been tightened in Ayodhya ahead of the ceremony. Rapid Action Force personnel have been deployed at strategic locations to ensure the smooth flow of the event. The police are conducting patrols by boat on the Sarayu River, while anti-bomb squad and dog squad teams are stationed at Ayodhya’s Maharishi Valmiki International Airport.
The beautiful town of Ayodhya has been adorned with vibrant saffron flags, adding a festive charm to the atmosphere. As devotees and dignitaries gather, the streets of Ayodhya resound with melodious tunes of devotional songs like ‘Ram Aayenge’ and ‘Awadh Mein Ram Aayen Hain’.
