Las Vegas, Nevada — The 26th Annual Latin Grammys unfolded Thursday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, showcasing the vibrancy of Latin music. Bad Bunny dominated the event with a total of 12 nominations and won multiple awards, including album of the year for his powerful work, ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos.’

Fans erupted in applause as Bad Bunny took to the stage to accept his awards. He dedicated his album to the youth of Latin America, saying, “I dedicate this award to all the young people of Latin America, especially from Puerto Rico.” His heartfelt address touched on empowerment and cultural pride.

Edgar Barrera also garnered attention, taking home three awards, thus raising his total to 29 Latin Grammys. The Texas-born songwriter reflected on his journey in the industry, saying, “I know what it’s taken me to get where I am.”

Other notable performances included Los Tigres del Norte, who returned with their immigrant anthem “La Lotería.” The performance included visual messages about immigrant rights, echoing their long-standing commitment to social issues.

Alejandro Sanz earned his eighth record of the year award, further solidifying his legacy in Latin music. The singer humbly acknowledged his fellow nominees, especially Bad Bunny and Karol G, emphasizing camaraderie among artists.

The night expanded horizons for new talent as Paloma Morphy won the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist. Dressed stylishly, she expressed gratitude and hinted at her ambitions in the industry.
