25 Balikas Honored On National Girl Child Day In Bagheshwar

On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, MLA Parvati Das honored 25 girls in Bagheshwar for their outstanding performance in education and sports. These students were recognized for excelling in the fields of education and sports. The event saw the participation of students from various schools in the district.

The program was inaugurated by MLA Parvati Das, District Panchayat President Basanti Dev, and District Sports Officer Gunjan Bala, who lit the ceremonial lamp. MLA Parvati Das expressed her satisfaction in honoring the students on the occasion of Girl Child Day. She praised the girls for outperforming boys in various fields and emphasized the importance of consistently recognizing their achievements.

Basanti Dev, the District Panchayat President, highlighted the increasing role and achievements of women in all spheres, whether it be politics or sports. She emphasized the need for continuous recognition and appreciation of women’s accomplishments.

The felicitated students, Komal Bist and Prajna Joshi, expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to be honored alongside their fellow students. They both highlighted the progress made by girls in education, culture, sports, and various other fields, matching their male counterparts.
