Is ‘The Bear’ Season 4 Filming in Austin?

AUSTIN, Texas – Peculiar signs appeared near Assembly Hall on East Seventh Street, hinting that FX‘s hit series, ‘The Bear,’ might be filming in Austin, Texas. Signs reading “Private Event Parking Only,” alongside two yellow signs marked “The Bear” and “Crew,” stood beside a black sign. Sprinter vans and moving trucks populated the parking lot, while crew members were seen gathered in the semi-private outdoor patio area of Assembly Hall, a multipurpose event space. Equipment was set up in the adjacent parking lot.

While the exact nature of the crew’s activities remains unclear, the filming location raises eyebrows considering the show primarily takes place in Chicago, Illinois. Season 3 of ‘The Bear’ premiered on Hulu in June 2024, and a considerable portion of Season 4 has already been filmed. FX CEO John Landgraf previously stated that production would resume in February 2025. The fourth season of ‘The Bear’ is anticipated to premiere in summer 2025.
