Las Vegas, Nevada — Former UFC fighter Ben Askren is currently hospitalized with a severe case of pneumonia. His wife, Amy Askren, confirmed on June 12 that he is ‘definitely still fighting’ and urged fans to pray for his recovery.
Following his hospitalization over the weekend, multiple rumors circulated online claiming that Askren had passed away. Amy swiftly denied these claims, stating, ‘He is alive and any rumor he has died is completely false.’
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Amy revealed that Ben was admitted to a local hospital after developing pneumonia very suddenly. She also noted that he is unable to respond while receiving medical attention.
