Ben Quad Wisher Album Release

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Post-emo band Ben Quad is set to release their second studio album, “Wisher,” on November 14 through Pure Noise Records. Emerging from the DIY music scene in Oklahoma City in 2018, the quartet has gained attention for their unique sound and heartfelt lyrics.

Following their 2022 debut album, “I’m Scared That’s All There Is,” which dealt with themes of loss and uncertainty, “Wisher” takes a more optimistic approach. According to vocalist and guitarist Sam Wegrzynski, the new album explores positive themes while addressing the complexities of life.

“This record specifically is about focusing on the brighter moments in life,” Wegrzynski said. “We wanted to create something that reflects growth and happiness, even amidst chaos. It’s not super sad, even though there are sad moments. It talks about past experiences as we navigate adulthood.”

The band has released several singles leading up to the album launch, including songs that showcase their signature screamo and emo influences. The album promises an unapologetic expression of the band’s artistic development.

Currently, Ben Quad is on tour supporting Koyo, alongside other acts like Restraining Order and I Promised The World. Their North American tour wraps up on November 23 in New York City.

Following the tour, Ben Quad will celebrate the release of “Wisher” with a special show at Beer City Music Hall in Oklahoma City on November 29. They also plan to embark on a European tour in February 2026 with a performance at Treefort Music Fest in March.

With the release of “Wisher,” Ben Quad hopes to inspire listeners to embrace life’s uncertainties. “We’re excited for everyone to hear this journey of emotional transformation,” said guitarist Edgar Viveros.

Fans eagerly await the album, viewing it as a testament to the band’s evolution and commitment to authenticity in their music.
