The 2024 Billboard Music Awards are set to air on Thursday, December 12, at 8:00pm ET/PT on FOX and Fire TV. This year’s ceremony will be hosted by actress and comedian Michelle Buteau. The nominees for the top categories have been announced, with notable artists such as Zach Bryan, Morgan Wallen, Sabrina Carpenter, Drake, and Taylor Swift vying for the Top Artist award. Other top categories include Top New Artist, with nominees like Benson Boone, Tommy Richman, and Chappell Roan, and Top Duo/Group, featuring blink-182, Coldplay, and Stray Kids.

Bad Bunny leads the Latin categories with six nominations, including Top Latin Artist and Top Latin Album. Billie Eilish is nominated in multiple categories, including Top Female Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist. Other notable nominees include Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, and The Weeknd.

The winners of the Billboard Music Awards are determined by year-end performance metrics, making the awards unique among music award shows. This year, partners such as Carnival Cruise Line and Tres Generaciones® Tequila will also be involved in the event, which is produced by Dick Clark Productions.
