Chitradurga Hospital Birth

CHITRADURGA, INDIA: In recent developments surrounding the Renukaswamy murder case, Sahana Devi, the widow of the late Renukaswamy, gave birth to a healthy baby boy at a hospital in Chitradurga. The birth occurred at approximately 6:50 AM on Monday. Renukaswamy’s father, Kashinath Shivanagoudar, expressed his gratitude towards the hospital staff for providing free medical treatment. He remarked, “I am happy with the baby’s birth as my son has come back.” Sahana was five months pregnant at the time of Renukaswamy’s death in June.

Meanwhile, the legal proceedings in the murder case have seen further developments. On Wednesday, the 57th sessions court denied bail for three of the accused, including Anu Kumar (alias Anu), V Vinay, and Pradoosh S Rao (alias Pradosh). The court based its decision on DNA evidence that linked blood found on the accused to Renukaswamy, as well as suspicious phone activity, which included call detail records. It was noted in court that Pradosh had reportedly deleted data from his mobile phone, including searches on how to obscure a phone’s location.

In a related development, actor Darshan and additional suspects, including Pavithra, have filed petitions with the high court seeking bail. Their cases were presented for urgent hearing before Justice S Vishwajith Shetty, who stated that the hearings would be scheduled for the following week. Previous bail requests by Darshan, Pavithra, and others had been declined by the trial court on Monday, with the court citing substantial evidence against them that requires judicial trial.
