Bloomberg Welcomes Journalist Natasha Mascarenhas to Tech Team
San Francisco, CA — Bloomberg News announced Monday that Natasha Mascarenhas is joining its Global Tech team. She will focus on venture capital and startups as part of Bloomberg’s VC team.
Natasha previously worked at The Information, where she gained a reputation for breaking major news related to prominent firms such as Sequoia, Benchmark, and Andreessen Horowitz. Her experience spans over seven years, during which she has become a respected figure in the Bay Area startup and venture capital community.
“We’re very excited to bring Natasha onto the team,” said Tom Giles, senior executive editor at Bloomberg News. “Her insights and reporting abilities will be a great asset as we continue to cover the fast-changing world of startups and venture capital.”
In her career, Natasha has not only reported impactful stories but also created podcasts, columns, and participated in conferences focused on the mechanics of the industry.
Natasha’s journey in journalism traces back to her childhood, where she started a magazine for her third-grade class. She has also taken time away from reporting for a part-time barista job. In her leisure time, she enjoys searching for high-quality coffee.
She will be based in San Francisco, collaborating with colleagues Anne VanderMey, Lizette Chapman, Rachel Metz, and Shirin Ghaffary. Natasha is set to officially join the team in January.
