The Brihan Mumbai Mahanagarpalika (BMC) recently commemorated Shiv Jayanti with grandeur at Krida Bhavan, located near the historic Shivaji Park in Mumbai. The event was honored by the presence of Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais, who joined in the celebrations.

A captivating cultural program unfolded as the talented Music Department of BMC showcased patriotic melodies that narrated the valiant life and glorious accomplishments of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The resonating tunes reverberated through the venue, stirring a sense of pride and reverence among the attendees.

In appreciation of the outstanding performance by the Music Department of BMC, Governor Ramesh Bais announced a generous prize of Rs. 25,000 as a token of recognition for their dedication and skill in paying homage to the legendary Shivaji Maharaj.

Leading the event with grace and efficiency, Administrator Dr I S Chahal and Additional Municipal Commissioner Dr Ashwini Joshi graced the occasion with their presence, adding a touch of official splendor to the vibrant celebrations.
