Bobby Flay Brooke Williamson Knicks Game

NEW YORK, New York — Celebrity chef Bobby Flay and restaurateur Brooke Williamson made their first public appearance as a couple Sunday at a New York Knicks game, following news of their budding romance last month.

The duo sat courtside at Madison Square Garden, smiling and cheering as the Knicks defeated the Phoenix Suns 112 to 98. Following the game, Flay took to his Instagram Story to share a photo of Williamson at the event. His caption read: “Thank[s] @nyknicks for a great game and a great win last night. Food, service and slams were all first-rate.”

Flay, 60, and Williamson, 46, reportedly began dating after years of friendship that developed during their collaboration on the Food Network show “Bobby’s Triple Threat,” which premiered in 2022. An insider told People magazine, “Over the last few weeks, love bloomed,” indicating that their relationship had deepened recently.

Williamson finalized her divorce from ex-husband Nick Roberts in early 2024, after a two-year separation. They share a 17-year-old son, Hudson. The insider noted that Williamson’s divorce may have contributed to shared experiences that helped their relationship evolve.

An earlier source described the couple’s connection, stating, “They have been friends for a while and recently decided to jump in.” This was echoed by Flay’s daughter, Sophie, who remarked to the press that her father “always has a date” to Hollywood events.

Bobby Flay has had a history of high-profile relationships, including marriages to Debra Ponzek (1991-1993), Kate Connelly (1995-1998), and Stephanie March (2005-2015). He shares a 28-year-old daughter, Sophie, with Connelly. In a recent podcast interview, Flay reflected on his dating life, saying, “I would be interested in a life partner for sure, but I don’t think it necessarily needs the documentation.”

The celebrity chef’s most recent relationship before Williamson was with writer Christina Pérez, which lasted over three years until they split in June 2024. Flay was also linked in the past to actress Heléne Yorke and reality star Kristin Cavallari, who revealed last year that Flay had tried to invite her to dinner but she turned him down due to being in another relationship.

Despite his varied romantic history, Flay appears to be in a happy and promising chapter with Williamson, as they navigate this new phase of their relationship publicly.
