Dr. Rian Maercks, a plastic surgeon, discussed Cooper’s look with the Daily Mail. He suggested that the actor could have had a procedure to tighten his neck and facial borders, resulting in a more youthful appearance. However, this has created an ‘imbalance’ between a firmer neck and jawline and a central face that appears to descend with age.

‘Bradley Cooper appears to show midfacial descent, which is natural as we age,’ Dr. Maercks noted. He emphasized that the common pitfalls of modern facelift techniques can lead to such visual disconnects. ‘Truly natural rejuvenation comes from understanding the deeper layers of facial structure,’ he added.

Conversely, Dr. John Diaz, another Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, pointed to the effects of aging rather than surgical intervention as the cause of Cooper’s altered look. He explained that loss of volume around the eyelids and cheekbones creates shadows that change his appearance over time.

Dr. Diaz mentioned, ‘I do not see anything that suggests he has had fillers or facial surgery.’ He concluded that most of the differences are likely due to natural aging processes.
