Bristol City Set For Emirates Fa Cup Fourth Round Replay Against Nottingham Forest

Bristol City is gearing up for the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round replay against Nottingham Forest, which is set to take place on Wednesday, February 7th. The two teams previously faced off in an exciting draw, failing to capitalize on their opportunities.

Liam Manning‘s Bristol City side has since secured a draw against Coventry City and suffered a defeat at home against Leeds United. Nottingham Forest, under the guidance of Nuno Espírito Santo since December 2023, also had a similar run of results with a draw against Bournemouth and a loss to Arsenal.

Premier League survival remains the primary objective for Nottingham Forest, but a successful Cup run would be an added bonus. The team’s recent signings, including Chris Wood, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Matt Turner, have bolstered their squad strength.

Callum Hudson-Odoi, who previously played for Chelsea, joined Nottingham Forest in September 2023. The forward, hailing from Wandsworth, London, made his mark at Chelsea, featuring in various competitions such as the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and FIFA Club World Cup. He has already made 17 appearances for Nottingham Forest, scoring twice.

The previous encounter between Nottingham Forest and Bristol City ended with the latter’s victory by a scoreline of 2-1. However, there will be no coverage of Wednesday night’s clash on Robins TV.

The match will be officiated by referee Michael Salisbury, supported by assistant referees Matthew Wilkes and Craig Taylor. John Brooks will serve as the fourth official, while VAR duties will be handled by Darren Bond, with Michael Oliver assisting as the VAR and Natalie Aspinall as the assistant VAR.
