Broadway Across Canada Announces Spectacular 2024 25 Season For Vancouver And Calgary

Broadway Across Canada has unveiled an exciting lineup for its 2024-25 season in both Vancouver and Calgary. The seven-show extravaganza promises to delight musical fans in British Columbia and Alberta.

In Vancouver, performances will be held at the iconic Queen Elizabeth Theatre, while Calgary audiences can enjoy the shows at the renowned Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.

The Vancouver season opens with the musical adaptation of Tim Burton’s classic film, Beetlejuice, known for its zany and spirited production.

Next up, audiences can witness the riveting story of the legendary rock ‘n’ soul singer in Tina — The Tina Turner Musical. This uplifting show has garnered 23 awards in the 2021-22 Broadway season, including the prestigious Tony Award for Best Original Score.

Another highlight of the Vancouver lineup is Six, a Tony-winning production that brings the six wives of Henry VIII to life in a spectacular girl power pop format.

Returning to both Vancouver and Calgary is the timeless classic, The Lion King, featuring incredible puppets, sets, and songs that have captivated audiences for years.

The season also includes three specials: the heartwarming Canadian musical Come From Away, the irreverent and hilarious The Book of Mormon, and Riverdance 30 — The New Generation.
