BRONX, N.Y. — A convenience store in Co-op City sold a top-prize winning TAKE 5 lottery ticket worth $32,723.50 for the New York Lottery’s April 26 evening drawing. The ticket was purchased at Shree Naanshardama, located at 113 Dreiser Loop, according to lottery officials.

TAKE 5 players choose five numbers from a range of 1 to 39. Drawings occur twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Winners must claim their prizes within one year of the drawing date.

The New York Lottery is noted as North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, having contributed $3.8 billion in the 2023-2024 fiscal year to support public schools across New York State.
