Bryan Adams Replaces Neil Young at Rock the Park Festival
Canadian rock icon Neil Young and his band Crazy Horse will not be performing at the upcoming Rock the Park festival, as they had to cancel all tour dates due to illness following a show in Detroit‘s Pine Knob.
Young’s cancellation has resulted in fellow Canadian rock legend Bryan Adams stepping in to headline the festival on July 13, filling the void left by Young.
Rock the Park, a long-running music festival owned by Brad Jones, announced the lineup change with just days to spare before the event.
Young, known for hits like ‘Rockin’ In The Free World’ and ‘Harvest Moon,’ was initially slated to be the festival’s biggest act this year.
Bryan Adams, famous for songs such as ‘Summer of ’69’ and ‘Run to You,’ will now take over the Saturday night slot at Rock the Park, delighting fans with his energetic performance.
