Bryce Lance’s Game-Winning Catch Sends NDSU to FCS Title Game

FARGO, N.D. — Bryce Lance, the younger brother of NFL quarterback Trey Lance, became an overnight sensation after his game-winning touchdown catch sent North Dakota State University (NDSU) to the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) title game. The Bison will face Montana State on Monday in Frisco, Texas, aiming for their 11th FCS national championship.

Lance’s dramatic 10-yard touchdown reception in the national semifinals against South Dakota State on Dec. 21 secured a 28-21 victory for NDSU. The catch, initially ruled incomplete, was overturned after replay review showed Lance had control of the ball with one foot inbounds.
