Bundesliga Player Market Value 2024

The recent update of market values for Bundesliga players by Transfermarkt has revealed considerable fluctuations, affecting a total of 119 players in Germany’s top division. Among the changes, Michael Olise of Bayern Munich emerged as a notable beneficiary, receiving an upgrade in his market value.

Olise, who has become a significant figure for Bayern Munich with standout performances, experienced an 18.2% increase in his market value, bringing it to €65 million. “Straightaway, Olise has become a crucial player for Bayern Munich, impressing with extraordinary performances,” said Transfermarkt Bundesliga market value administrator Tobias Kröger. “If he continues this way, the upgrade will likely be just an in-between step for the 22-year-old.”

Conversely, Leroy Sané has seen his market value decline by 14.4% to €60 million. Kröger explained, “Leroy Sané has had an unfortunate year 2024. He only scored one goal in the entire calendar year and has been out of form for months. The issue appears to be his inability to stay fit, which has again been an issue this season.”

Elsewhere in Bayern Munich’s squad, winger Kingsley Coman‘s market value was downgraded by 20% from €50 million to €40 million amid transfer speculations. Meanwhile, central midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic saw a significant increase of 66.7%, raising his value from €30 million to €50 million.

Not yet at Bayern Munich but expected to be a part of the club’s future is Heidenheim’s attacking midfielder Arijon Ibrahimovic. “Wanner is one of the biggest attacking talents in Germany, and it is only a matter of time before he is called up by the national team,” Kröger commented. The young playmaker’s market value rose by 87.5% to €15 million.

Over at Borussia Dortmund, Gio Reyna continues to grapple with fitness issues, impacting his market value, which dropped by 33.3% to €12 million. Kröger noted, “Reyna remains Dortmund’s biggest problem child; he is frequently sidelined by injuries. A change of scenery might be beneficial for him.”

However, there is positive news for Dortmund as well, with wingers Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Ansgar Knauff each receiving a market value upgrade to €35 million. “Gittens is a technically gifted player who has played himself into the spotlight over the last few weeks,” stated Kröger.

In Stuttgart, French winger Enzo Millot is among the season’s standout players, seeing his market value increase by €12 million to €42 million. “Millot is one of the season’s standout players. It is only a matter of time until top clubs try to sign him,” Kröger remarked.

Transfermarkt’s market values are determined using various pricing models and reflect expected values of players in a free market rather than definitive transfer fees. Factors considered include the Transfermarkt community’s evaluations and situational circumstances surrounding players.
