Gloria Allred Attorney Investigation News

Los Angeles, California – The State Bar of California is investigating the law firm of prominent attorney Gloria Allred. The probe, revealed on Friday, aims to find out if Allred, Maroko & Goldberg pressured clients into accepting settlement deals they did not agree with.

This investigation follows allegations from former clients, as reported in March. These individuals claim that the firm used “high-pressure tactics” to dictate how clients managed their cases and interacted with the media.

Allred responded to the allegations by stating that she and her partners have always acted ethically. In a statement to The Wall Street Journal, she expressed confidence that the bar’s investigation will reveal no wrongdoing. “We have always acted ethically and in accordance with the Rules of Professional Responsibility,” she said.

At 83 years old, Allred remains a notable figure in high-profile legal cases. She has represented clients in several of the most recognized cases of sexual misconduct, including those against Bill Cosby, Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein, R. Kelly, and Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Allred emphasized her determination to maintain her principles, stating, “I will not bow down to kings or The Wall Street Journal.”
