Carrie Coon Takes A Back Seat In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire Trailer

The highly anticipated trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire has been released, and it seems that Carrie Coon, one of the central characters in the film, takes a back seat in the promotional material. In the trailer, Coon only has two short lines, while co-stars Paul Rudd and Bill Murray dominate the screen time.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is the sequel to the 2021 film Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and brings back familiar faces such as Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, and Celeste O’Connor. Original Ghostbusters cast members Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Annie Potts also return, reprising their roles as Ray, Winston, and Melnitz respectively.

New additions to the cast include Kumail Nanjiani and Patton Oswalt, both of whom are featured more prominently in the trailer than Coon. Frozen Empire follows the Ghostbusters as they team up to protect their home from an evil force that has caused an icy disaster in New York City.

The lack of screen time for Coon in the trailer has raised some eyebrows among fans, who were hoping to see more of her character, Callie Spengler. However, with the film set to release on March 22, viewers can still look forward to discovering her performance when they watch the full movie.
