Casablanca, Morocco — The city of Casablanca has released its weekly bulletin detailing wholesale prices for the most sought-after meats, fruits, and vegetables in local markets. This information is meant for guidance and may vary based on product quality and origin.

As of April 30, 2025, beef prices remain steady, ranging from 75 to 89 dirhams per kilogram. Sheep meat prices have risen by 5 dirhams, now between 65 and 110 dirhams per kilogram. This week, vegetable prices have largely stayed consistent. Specifically, dry onions are priced at 12 dirhams per kilogram and squash at 8 dirhams per kilogram. Tomatoes are steady at 4.50 dirhams per kilogram, while potatoes are priced at 3.30 dirhams per kilogram. Cucumbers saw a slight dip, down 30 centimes, now at 2.50 dirhams per kilogram.

The fruit market remains calm, with avocados holding at 38 dirhams per kilogram. Imported bananas decreased by one dirham to 17 dirhams per kilogram, while local bananas remain unchanged at 11 dirhams per kilogram. Watermelons showed a significant decrease of 2 dirhams per kilogram, and local apple varieties increased slightly by 1 dirham to 13 dirhams per kilogram, with imported apples stable at 23 dirhams per kilogram.
