Celtics Dominate Trail Blazers in 129-116 Victory

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Boston Celtics improved to 2-0 on their longest road trip of the season with a commanding 129-116 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers Sunday night at Moda Center.
Displaying their offensive strength, the Celtics shot 46 percent from beyond the arc, connecting on 23 of 50 attempts. Sam Hauser led the charge with an impressive 8-for-10 performance from three-point range, while Derrick White added to the tally with four trifectas.
Every starter for Boston contributed significantly, with Jayson Tatum leading the team with 30 points. The balanced scoring was evident throughout the game, showcasing the Celtics’ depth and versatility on offense.
The Trail Blazers put up a competitive fight, but ultimately fell short against the Celtics’ firepower. Despite their efforts, including contributions from their key players, Portland couldn’t match Boston’s shooting accuracy and offensive rhythm.
“We came out with the mindset to play hard and execute our game plan,” Tatum said after the game. “We know that when we shoot well from three, we are tough to beat.”
As Boston looks to continue its winning streak, the Celtics will face New York in their next matchup on this road trip, hoping to maintain their momentum.
