Central New York Faces Rain Showers After Warm Wednesday

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Central New York is experiencing clear skies and warm temperatures this Wednesday, significantly ahead of expected rain this weekend. Meteorologist Sam Postich reported that temperatures could soar into the mid-60s, making it an ideal day for outdoor activities.
Postich mentioned that while the sun is shining brightly today, residents should prepare for showers and thunderstorms beginning Thursday. “Make sure to enjoy every second of it as rain showers are making a return this weekend!” he advised.
Thursday is likely to be the warmest day of the year so far, with only a few unpredictable showers projected in the afternoon. Despite the high temperatures, Postich suggested keeping an eye out for possible storms.
As the week progresses, conditions will begin to change. Another weather system will bring scattered rain on Friday, with steady rain expected on Saturday, dropping temperatures back to normal by Sunday. Postich concluded, “For the latest forecast and live local radar, stay connected with us.”
