Chaos Unfolds In Perth's Northern Suburbs: Two Teens Hospitalized And Two Arrested After Stabbing

Chaos unfolded in Perth‘s northern suburbs on Sunday afternoon, leading to two teenagers being hospitalized and two individuals arrested after a stabbing incident. The scene of the incident was in Karrinyup, specifically near Jackson Avenue, where a member of the public reported a stabbing and another individual giving chase to the perpetrator.

Simultaneously, reports surfaced of a person wielding a bladed weapon on Francis Avenue, close to the Karrinyup Shopping Centre precinct. This prompted the deployment of numerous ambulances and police units, including local law enforcement, detectives, the canine unit, and the police air wing.

Two 18-year-old men sustained stab wounds and lacerations and were rushed to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, two 16-year-old boys were apprehended by the authorities. Police assured the community that there was no ongoing danger as investigations continued.

Both hospitalized victims are reported to be in a serious yet stable condition. The nature of their injuries is still being confirmed by the police. One of the detained juveniles was also taken to the hospital for a hand injury before being released to the police custody.

Local residents, including Geoffrey Mosel, recounted the dramatic events as police apprehended the individuals involved, with one young man found hiding in a garden. Mosel described witnessing police drawing their firearms and making an arrest, a scene that left the community feeling vulnerable.
