Chicago P.D. Season 13 Set to Premiere with High Stakes

CHICAGO, Ill. — The highly anticipated Season 13 of Chicago P.D. premieres on Wednesday, October 1, at 10/9c on NBC. The fearless Intelligence Unit is back, facing new challenges and higher stakes.
Fans can expect a gripping comeback with Sgt. Hank Voight, portrayed by Jason Beghe, returning to lead the team. After the disbandment of the Intelligence Unit, Voight faces the task of restoring trust within the Chicago Police Department (CPD) while managing the fallout from his earlier decisions.
“Voight is a complex leader who walks a fine line between right and wrong,” said Beghe. “His determination to solve cases is what keeps him going.”
Joining Beghe are returning stars Patrick John Flueger as Officer Adam Ruzek, Marina Squerciati as Kim Burgess, LaRoyce Hawkins as Officer Kevin Atwater, and Amy Morton as Sgt. Trudy Platt. Each character brings unique skills and emotional depth to the series.
“It’s thrilling to be back on set with the team,” Squerciati said. “Burgess is always ready to fight for justice, no matter the challenges ahead.”
New to the cast this season is Eva Imani, played by Arienne Mandi, who transfers from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. Mandi’s character promises new dynamics and tensions within the unit. “Joining this brilliant cast has been a dream come true,” Mandi noted.
The Season 13 premiere is set to deliver edge-of-your-seat action and gripping investigative twists that have become synonymous with Chicago P.D. The excitement builds as the audience prepares for the officers to take on fresh, dramatic cases.
As Wednesday nights heat up, One Chicago Wednesdays on NBC kicks off with the premiere of Chicago P.D. this October.
